Alix Partners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support our employees’ work-life integration. However, we would prefer this individual to be on site as much as possible, to support the analysts on the Business Analyst program.

The Middle East Researcher and Business Analyst Manager role has two fundamental pillars:

1. Business Analyst Programme

• Lead and manage a cohort of four Business Analysts based in Riyadh, overseeing onboarding, development, and day-to-day management.
• Collaborate with the BA Director and other EMEA BA Managers to adapt and implement best practices from the BA Program into the Middle East.
• Supervise delivery and continuous improvement of the Business Analyst training programs specific to the Middle East track, tracking progress and identifying areas for growth.
• Conduct frequent one-on-one meetings with BAs to review performance, provide feedback, and mentor for career advancement.
• Gather and synthesize feedback from project teams and clients throughout the year, focusing on major milestones.
• Coordinate staffing and resource planning to align analyst capabilities, aspirations, and project requirements.
• Assess readiness of analysts for internal transfers or new responsibilities and support seamless integration.
• Support recruitment of future analysts for the program in line with business needs.

2. Business Intelligence Centre

• Deliver critical research, facilitate business development, and provide proactive intelligence to support company-wide initiatives.
• Perform independent research and market analysis, using internal and external sources to process pitch-critical company information for the Middle East region.
• Support non-company specific business development, engagements, and marketing campaigns.
• Identify new business opportunities using research tools and industry dynamics.
• Provide RFP and pitch support, including research, competitive positioning, and tailored insights.
• Deliver market dynamics and competitive intelligence for the Middle East, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for decision‑making.
• Assist with key fund account management, research and analysis for relationship development, portfolio reviews, and strategic planning.
• Maintain a bank of business development key materials.

This is a permanent role located in Riyadh and reports to the Business Intelligence Director.

• 6‑8 years of research experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Experience working in a matrix environment.
• GCC experience is essential.
• Experience with GenAI is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English;
  Arabic is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience in business intelligence, market research, or a related field, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high‑performing teams across multiple industries.
• Deep understanding of industry‑specific research methodologies and tools.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Excellent collaboration skills, setting clear objectives, building timelines, and reporting.
• Enthusiasm, proactive “can‑do” attitude, and strong people skills.
• Resilient and able to navigate high‑performance environments.
• Confidence in providing recommendations to senior stakeholders even when ambiguous.
• Experience driving business development and supporting strategic pitches through intelligence and research.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid residency for Saudi Arabia, or ability to obtain it.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours for unique projects or needs.
• Full‑time presence in an office; physical ability to sit/stand at a computer for significant portions of the day.
