The Procurement Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and coordinating procurement activities for the Building Materials Group (BMG) across Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. This role supports both retail and distribution operations, ensuring effective supplier coordination, purchase order execution, inventory control, and pricing support while maintaining cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely material availability.

What You’ll Do:

1. Procurement Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for trade building materials and non-trade Capex items.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Retail, Distribution, and Operations teams to understand material requirements and demand planning.
  • Source quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and recommend suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Issue purchase orders and track confirmations, deliveries, and completion status.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery conditions to achieve optimal value without compromising quality.
  • Handle warranty claims, product returns, and supplier follow-ups to ensure resolution within agreed timelines.
  • Conduct pricing and margin analysis to support commercial and business decisions.
  • Assist in determining product pricing for retail and distribution channels.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for savings.

4. Inventory & Operational Support:

  • Perform inventory analysis to prevent stock shortages and overstocking across locations.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and availability of materials.
  • Track supplier deliveries and ensure materials are available to support business operations and sales campaigns.

5. Documentation, Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare and manage procurement documentation including PRs, POs, LPOs, POS, and supplier payment records in coordination with Finance.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and trackers using Excel and ERP systems.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and approval matrices.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in the sanitary ware or building materials sector.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with a proven ability to handle multiple projects efficiently.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, import regulations, and basic logistics is an advantage.
