What You’ll Do:As a Senior Business Development professional with a business consultation focus, you will lead strategic client engagement activities, identify and develop new revenue streams, and act as a trusted advisor to clients across sectors. You will translate client needs into tailored service propositions, collaborate with delivery teams, and own deal negotiation and closure for complex opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute account and territory strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Lead consultative sales engagements: diagnose client needs, define value propositions and design customised solutions.
- Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as their trusted advisor.
- Manage the full sales cycle for complex opportunities, from prospecting and proposal development to negotiation and closure.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that clearly communicate commercial and technical value.
- Collaborate closely with project management, localisation and operations teams to ensure solutions are feasible and delivered to a high standard.
- Provide market and competitor insight to inform product development and pricing strategies.
- Mentor and support junior business development colleagues, sharing best practice and helping to build pipeline quality.
- Maintain accurate opportunity and activity records in the CRM and produce regular sales forecasts and reports.
- Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in B2B business development, consultative sales or management consulting, preferably with exposure to localisation, language services or adjacent sectors.
- Demonstrable track record of winning and managing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and the ability to build trusted advisor relationships at senior levels.
- Exceptional presentation and proposal‑writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, strategic thinker who can operate independently and collaboratively within a global matrix organisation.
- Experience using CRM systems and producing sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
