Job Title: Co-Branded Cards Product Management Specialist

Term: 12 months

Location: Riyadh, KSA

Division: Retail Banking/ Cards & Payments

Reports to: Head of Cards & Payments

Relevant experience:

  • 10-15 years Cards Product/ Portfolio management
  • Co-Brand Card Product launches
  • Process/ Policy revamp

Mandatory requirements:

  • Experience of product launches, CVP development, SAMA regulations knowledge
  • Co-brand partner relationship management
  • Knowledge of cards (Debit, Credit and Prepaid) profitability and key metrics.
PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

The Co-branded Cards Product Management Specialist will be responsible for driving the strategic development, commercialisation, and lifecycle management of co‑branded product and will support the client in management of the relationship with the co‑brand partner. This includes overseeing product launches, optimizing portfolio performance, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role is to support the client in the strategic and operational management of card‑related sponsorship partnerships.

The individual will be responsible for supporting in maximizing the value of sponsorship assets, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving impactful campaigns that enhance cardholder engagement and portfolio growth.

Key Activities Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities Sponsorship Partnership Management
  • Support in managing the relationship with the sponsorship partner
  • Support in ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled, including branding exposure, asset utilization, and milestone delivery.
  • Coordinate with legal, marketing, and product teams to align sponsorship terms with business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, analytics) and external vendors.
  • Facilitate steering committees and milestone meetings with senior management to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration to support campaign development and execution.
Product Development
  • Lead the design and rollout of innovative card products tailored to market needs.
  • Define product value propositions (CVPs) and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, sales, operations, compliance) to ensure successful product launches.
  • Guide and support in executing strategies aimed at generating revenue through products in alignment with consumer banking strategy.
  • Supports the commercialization of new products and launch of new products and solutions, by recommending pricing, providing sales tools and training the sales team to ensure knowledge transfer resulting in successful sales in partnership with acquisitions.
  • Develop strong bonds with clients that endure beyond a particular assignment, serves as a go‑to resource for client staff, is sought out for knowledge of industry and firm.
  • Identify new business opportunities to support clients with company solutions.
  • Manage integration with card processing systems, switches, and vendors.
  • Provide technical support for card applications and resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of regulatory changes and compliance adherence.
Asset Leveraging & Campaign Development
  • Identify opportunities to activate sponsorship assets (e.g., branding rights, experiences) across cardholder segments.
  • Develop compelling campaign concepts that integrate sponsorship elements to boost card usage and engagement.
  • Prepare business cases, creative briefs, and customer communication plans for each campaign.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
  • Monitor campaign performance using dashboards and KPIs (e.g., spend uplift, activation rates, engagement metrics).
  • Coordinate with analytics teams to extract insights and optimize future campaigns.
  • Report progress to stakeholders and adjust strategies based on performance outcomes.

Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of card payments, processing systems, and regulatory environments.
  • 10 to 15 years of proven experience in product development, portfolio management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
