The Business Development Senior Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and executing partnership and market expansion initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, deal execution, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities Business Growth & Strategy- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and revenue streams
- Develop and execute business development plans aligned with company objectives
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights
- Build and manage relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Lead commercial negotiations and close mid‑to‑large‑scale deals
- Structure proposals, pricing models, and commercial agreements
- Own and manage a robust pipeline of business development opportunities
- Forecast revenue and track performance against targets
- Prepare reports and insights for senior leadership
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Legal teams
- Support go‑to‑market initiatives and product launches
- Ensure smooth handover of closed deals to account management or delivery teams
- Mentor junior business development managers and executives
- Contribute to best practices, tools, and process improvements
- Act as a role model for high performance and commercial excellence
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- 6–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
- Proven ability to close complex deals and manage strategic accounts
