EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) is seeking a Riyadh-based AM/ Manager to support the growth of our sustainability practice, with a particular focus on Energy and Industrials. The role is suited to a commercially minded sustainability professional who can combine technical understanding with a strategic consulting approach, strong communication, and an entrepreneurial drive to build client relationships and develop new opportunities.

You will work across a range of sustainability themes, helping clients understand complex challenges, shape practical solutions, and translate emerging needs into well-defined projects. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to client delivery, business development, thought leadership, and team building in a fast-growing market.

• Apply structured problem-solving to define client issues, develop hypotheses, analyse information, and design practical, value-focused solutions.
• Manage work streams across multiple client engagements, ensuring high-quality outputs, timely delivery, and effective coordination with senior team members.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and contribute to senior-level discussions across the Energy and Industrials sectors.
• Develop clear, persuasive presentations, proposals, reports, executive summaries, and other client-ready materials.
• Identify and shape business development opportunities by seeding relevant ideas, understanding client priorities, and helping convert opportunities into projects.
• Contribute to proposals, pitches, account planning, market scans, thought leadership, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Advise clients across multiple sustainability topics, which may include climate strategy, ESG, decarbonisation, circular economy, waste management, water stewardship, sustainable supply chains, and sustainability reporting.
• Support work related to climate risk and disclosure, including IFRS S1 and IFRS S2, where relevant to the engagement.
• Contribute to the development of EY methodologies, tools, knowledge assets, and market-facing propositions.
• Support the growth of a high-performing team through coaching, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and active contribution to a positive team culture.

• Strategic and consulting mindset, with strong structured thinking, problem-solving, and solution-development skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong presentation development and slide-writing capability.
• Commercial acumen and a strong business development orientation, with the ability to initiate conversations, develop ideas, and support opportunity conversion.
• Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders, build long-term relationships, and communicate complex topics clearly.
• Broad sustainability experience across Energy and Industrials, with the ability to connect technical issues to business priorities.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, personal accountability, and motivation to help grow the business and build a successful team.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, research, and report-writing skills.

• An undergraduate degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline such as engineering, environmental science, sustainability, economics, business, public policy, or a related field. An MSc, MBA, or other advanced degree is advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability, climate change, ESG, strategy, consulting, or a related field.
