Socioeconomic Development Consultant

Arweqah Alreyadah is looking for an experienced Socioeconomic Development Consultant to support the design and delivery of impactful socioeconomic development solutions.

The role covers the full consulting cycle—from diagnosing development needs and analyzing socioeconomic data to designing strategies, initiatives, operating models, and implementation plans. The successful candidate will work on a range of development projects aimed at promoting sustainable economic growth, social impact, and community development.

• Conduct socioeconomic research, needs assessments, baseline studies, and development gap analyses.
• Analyze demographic, employment, income, education, entrepreneurship, and community development data to identify key challenges and opportunities.
• Develop socioeconomic strategies, policies, programs, and initiatives aligned with development priorities.
• Design targeted development interventions for communities, productive families, entrepreneurs, SMEs, nonprofit organizations, and vulnerable groups.
• Prepare sector studies, benchmarking analyses, policy papers, and socioeconomic development frameworks.
• Develop theories of change, results frameworks, impact pathways, performance indicators, and monitoring and evaluation plans.
• Design operating models, implementation roadmaps, and action plans to support the successful delivery of development initiatives.
• Assess the social and economic impact of projects, programs, and investments.
• Engage and collaborate with government entities, development partners, communities, and other key stakeholders.
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and decision-makers.
• Support feasibility studies, strategic planning, and the development of sustainable and scalable solutions.
• Monitor implementation progress and evaluate program outcomes and impact.

• Preferably a Master’s degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in socioeconomic development, consulting, strategy, public policy, social impact, or development planning.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in conducting socioeconomic assessments and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
• Ability to develop strategies, frameworks, operating models, and implementation plans.
• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including theories of change, KPIs, and impact measurement.
• Excellent report writing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong command of English;
  Arabic proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment.
