We are currently seeking a Senior Project Auditor to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of controls, risk management practices, and governance processes across development and real estate projects. The role involves conducting risk-based audits, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations to support project success and organizational objectives.
1.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk-based audits of real estate and development projects.
- Review project feasibility studies, budgets, procurement processes, contractor management, and cost controls.
- Evaluate project performance, timelines, and potential causes of delays, including financial and contractual implications.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices.
- Identify control weaknesses, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop audit findings and recommendations and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate results to management.
- Ensure audit activities are conducted in accordance with professional standards and internal policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in project auditing, project controls, construction, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, internal controls, project governance, and audit principles.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
