Wayfinding Signage Manager – to Freelance KSA

TAIT is seeking an experienced Wayfinding Signage Manager to support a large-scale event from October to December 2026. The ideal candidate has experience with large scale, way finding projects and is able to be on ground in Riyadh, KSA for November 1 to December 10, 2026, with remote preproduction starting in October 2026. This is a freelance contract role, not a full-time position.

This role will be a key operational leader driving planning, coordination, and execution of assigned way finding and signage. You’ll manage logistics, schedules, and vendors from kickoff through wrap. This role requires flexibility, cross‑department collaboration, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment.

• Own way finding sign production in assigned areas including front of house, back of house, and external sites.
• Creation of decks with dot maps to communicate way finding, branding, and FOH signage locations.
• Measure brandable areas for design both with team and with suppliers as needed.
• Own marking up to prepare for install of graphics (ie. way finding, sponsorship areas, and general graphics).
• Use existing signage inventory along with creation of new way finding structures as needed.
• Own placement and location of way finding signage onsite.
• Own the pipeline of work from signage needs in tracking systems, working with the vendor through install and de-install.
• Keep track of vendor costs with Sr. Signage Manager and Signage Coordinator

• Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 3+ years of international live event, entertainment, live theater, touring concert and/or production experience at the managerial level, with past way finding or signage experience.
• Experience in the GCC area preferred, especially KSA, Dubai, Qatar, etc.
• Computer skills:
  Macintosh OS or Window platform using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
• Experience using Air Table, Smartsheet, or similar database and tracking software.
• Able to join Zoom meetings outside of 9am-5pm hours if needed (team members span global locations)
• Have excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Play a key role in communications with all stakeholders and all departments
• Ensure that all work conforms to pre‑established specifications & standards of TAIT.
• Take initiative, multi‑task, and work positively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency & act responsively.
• Work independently as well as within a team environment.
