Senior Consultant

Engagement: Full-time project-based consulting assignment

We are a consulting firm seeking a full-time Senior Consultant with Saudi-market credit card experience and strong analytical skills to support a banking consulting engagement. You will lead product improvement initiatives within our consulting team, alongside the client's product owner and functional teams. The role covers diagnosis, solution design, pilot coordination, and handover.

• Recommend and align improvement priorities with the client across discovery, eligibility, application, approval, acceptance, issuance, and activation.
• Analyze product and funnel performance with the Data Analyst to identify growth opportunities, abandonment drivers, approval bottlenecks, and activation gaps.
• Evaluate card propositions, customer segments, credit limits, and pre-approved offers, recommending improvements supported by data.
• Work with relevant teams to assess improvements to product policies, eligibility criteria, decision rules, and exception handling, and coordinate required approvals.
• Develop the project initiative backlog and implementation roadmap with client owners, based on expected impact, effort, and dependencies.
• Define business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; support client implementation teams with clarification and delivery coordination.
• Partner with the CX Specialist to improve digital journeys and contact-center handoffs.
• Prepare quick wins and pilot plans, define success metrics, and coordinate testing, launch readiness, and performance reviews with accountable client teams.
• Prepare client decision materials, track progress and blockers, and hand over the roadmap, requirements, and pilot learnings to client teams.

• 5-8 years of experience with credit card products in the Saudi market, with knowledge of relevant Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) regulations and requirements.
• Experience in product management or product ownership, working across banking and technology teams.
• Practical understanding of the credit card lifecycle, including acquisition, eligibility, approval, issuance, and activation.
• Experience in consulting or client-facing project delivery, including presenting recommendations and preparing structured deliverables is preferred.
• Experience growing digital credit card sales and acquiring new-to-bank customers is preferred.
• Experience with pre-approved offers, personalization, and abandoned-application recovery is preferred.
• Familiarity with open banking use cases for customer assessment and offer development is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret application and sales data and develop evidence-based recommendations and business cases.
• Understanding of the relationship between commercial growth, profitability, credit quality, and customer experience.
• Ability to manage priorities, requirements, dependencies, and delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in analytical and reporting tools; SQL knowledge is a plus.

• Relevant academic qualifications in business, finance, product management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• The ideal candidate combines Saudi-market credit card expertise with strong analytical judgment and product delivery skills. They can turn funnel insights into prioritized initiatives, business requirements, and measurable pilots, while coordinating closely with the client's product owner and functional teams. They should be comfortable presenting recommendations, managing dependencies, and handing over an actionable roadmap within a defined consulting engagement.
