The RoleReporting to the Construction Manager, Supervisors will be responsible for overseeing and managing on-site construction activities related to bridge projects. This role involves ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures, while effectively leading and coordinating construction teams.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct on-site construction activities for bridge projects, ensuring efficient progress and adherence to schedules.
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and relevant construction codes.
- Implement and enforce strict health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve site-related issues and optimize resource allocation.
The successful candidate will have experience in bridge construction and demonstrate:
- A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications in construction supervision or project management are advantageous.
- Proven experience in supervising bridge construction projects. A strong understanding of bridge construction methodologies, materials, and equipment is essential. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage site personnel, coordinate with subcontractors, and report progress to project management.
