Project Commercial Manager
The Project Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing all commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost efficiency, financial control, and successful project delivery from a commercial perspective.
ResponsibilitiesManage project budgets, cost control, forecasting and cash flow to ensure project profitability. Oversee all contractual and commercial matters including contract administration, variations, claims and final account settlements. Monitor project costs against approved budgets and prepare regular commercial and financial reports. Coordinate with procurement, project and engineering teams to achieve commercial objectives. Review subcontractor agreements, payments and commercial performance. Negotiate variations, claims and other commercial matters with clients and subcontractors.
Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with contract terms, company policies, and project requirements. Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on all commercial matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction projects (mandatory).
- Proven experience in residential and hospitality projects (essential).
- Strong background in commercial management, cost control, and contract administration.
- Solid knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC preferred).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under pressure.
- Excellent communication and commercial acumen.
