Senior Contracts & Commercial Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts & Commercial Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractual and commercial aspects of infrastructure, civil engineering, and landscaping projects, ensuring effective contract administration, cost control, risk mitigation, and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

This role requires strong expertise in contract management, claims preparation, procurement support, and stakeholder coordination to ensure project objectives are achieved while protecting the company's commercial interests.

• Administer and manage contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review contract terms, identify risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and commercial performance.
• Support procurement activities, including tender evaluations and subcontract management.
• Prepare commercial reports, forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
• Assist in dispute avoidance and resolution processes.
• Support project closeout activities and final account settlements.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Strong experience in contracts and commercial management within construction, infrastructure, or landscaping projects.
• Sound knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
• Experience in claims management, cost control, and contract administration.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial management tools.
