Overview
AtkinsR alis is seeking a degree qualified Assistant Construction Manager with around 15 years of experience. The candidate should be forward‑thinking, adept at leading large multi‑disciplined site teams, and able to work within a multi‑functional PMC construction team to deliver diverse infrastructure projects that meet client requirements.
Responsibilities- Manage key stakeholder interfaces across client organization departments and other government departments.
- Provide overall construction, PMC management, and control.
- Monitor contractors for compliance with contractual responsibilities.
- Track construction progress to ensure schedule compliance from a PMC perspective.
- Ensure delivery of projects on time, within cost, and quality targets while maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Allocate resources appropriately to meet current and future commitments and capitalize on opportunities.
- Mobilize people and teams, drive successful delivery, and build strong relationships across projects, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor degree (BSc or BEng in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent).
- Minimum 15 years of construction management experience, with at least 8 years in a similar project/role.
- Demonstrable track record delivering large multi‑functional projects.
- Excellent knowledge of construction techniques, project control procedures, quality, and health & safety.
- Strong planning, analytical, and commercial acumen.
- Senior level professional capable of providing leadership, direction, and technical expertise.
- Ability to maintain and enhance reputation with clients, develop long‑term relationships, and identify new opportunities.
