Project Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate civil site activities including earthworks, concrete works, structural elements, utilities installation and finishing works.
• Review civil drawings, specifications and technical documents to ensure proper site implementation.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments and work plans for civil construction activities.
• Monitor and inspect construction works to ensure compliance with design quality and Saudi Building Code requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, subcontractors and consultants.
• Prepare daily reports, progress updates, material logs and technical documentation.
• Conduct site measurements, quantity surveys and material reconciliation to support cost control and procurement.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, design discrepancies and construction challenges.
• Support shop drawings, as‑built drawings and technical submittals for client consultant approval.
• Ensure HSE compliance and promote a safety‑first culture on site.
• Participate in project meetings, inspections and coordination sessions.
• Assist in planning and scheduling civil construction activities using Primavera P6, MS Project or similar tools.
• Support commissioning, testing and handover activities for civil works.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 12–15 years of progressive experience in civil engineering for construction projects.
• Proven experience in large‑scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed‑use projects.
• Hands‑on experience in structural works, earthworks, concrete construction, utilities and finishing activities.
• Professional Engineer license or equivalent certification preferred.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Very good in English.
• Strong ability to read AutoCAD drawings, Revit/BIM models and civil engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, ERP systems, construction contracts, specifications, Saudi Building Code, quantity surveying, cost estimation and material management.
• Strong problem‑solving, organization, attention to detail, teamwork and risk‑management skills.
