Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on‑site
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Perform risk assessments
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and recommend preventive measures
- Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, and prepare detailed reports
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and awareness training for employees and contractors
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements and company HSE standards
- Monitor the use of PPE and safe work practices across the site
- Prepare HSE reports, statistics, permits and safety documentation
- Coordinate emergency response activities and participate in emergency drills
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety performance
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in Construction, Infrastructure or Industrial projects
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any relevant discipline
- NEBOSH IGC is required
- Good knowledge of OSHA standards, risk assessment and incident investigation
- Experience conducting site inspections and safety audits
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Good command of English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
