Quantity Surveyor

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Riyadh. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for façade, structural, and fit-out works. Responsibilities include evaluating contractor and supplier quotations, conducting cost analyses, and monitoring project budgets and expenditures. The role involves collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track progress, manage variations, and support contract administration.

The Quantity Surveyor will also assist in value engineering, risk assessment, and preparing periodic financial reports to ensure projects are delivered within budget and aligned with company standards.

• Strong skills in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for construction projects.
• Proficiency in preparing bills of quantities, tender documents, and contract-related reports.
• Experience with quantity surveying software and tools, and solid MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods, especially façades, structural works, and interior fit-out.
• Understanding of contract conditions, procurement processes, and commercial terms.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong organizational abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications or membership (e.g., RICS or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor in general contracting, façade, or fit-out projects in the region is preferred.
