- Electrical in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is a construction hiring opportunity for an experienced site‑based electrical inspection professional who can support construction supervision on a major public realm development. The role focuses on inspecting dry utilities and electrical works, reviewing shop drawings, attending inspection requests, monitoring site quality, recording daily progress, identifying nonconforming works, and helping ensure that landscape, streetscape, parks, open spaces, and infrastructure works are delivered in line with approved drawings, specifications, safety procedures, and contract requirements.
- Attend inspection requests submitted by contractors and take timely action based on site conditions and approved procedures.
- Inspect dry utilities and electrical construction works to confirm compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and contract requirements.
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings against contract drawings, local codes, statutory requirements, project specifications, and recognized best practices.
- Report any contractor works that are not aligned with approved drawings, specifications, standards, or inspection requirements.
- Monitor the quality of executed electrical and dry utilities works on site and track daily construction progress.
- Maintain accurate daily site records, inspection notes, work progress details, and photographic evidence for future review.
- Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies found during site inspections and support nonconformance reports when required.
- Check coordination between electrical works, dry utilities, landscape works, civil works, roads, streetscape elements, and other project disciplines.
- Provide practical technical input to help resolve discipline‑related issues that arise during site execution.
- Verify that construction activities follow approved methods, installation requirements, and project quality expectations.
- Maintain organized records of inspections, work executed, corrective actions, and site observations.
- Assist with measurement of completed work when required by the supervision team.
- Observe and support site safety procedures during inspections and daily field activities.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, inspectors, and stakeholders to support timely inspection closure and quality compliance.
- Escalate recurring issues, critical deficiencies, and coordination concerns to the appropriate project team members.
- Support the delivery of high‑quality public realm infrastructure by maintaining discipline, accuracy, and consistency in site inspections.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of related experience in electrical inspection, dry utilities works, construction supervision, or direct landscape‑related site works.
- Strong understanding of electrical site installations within public realm, landscape, streetscape, parks, open spaces, or infrastructure environments.
- Experience attending inspection requests and reviewing executed works against approved drawings and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, contract drawings, technical specifications, local codes, and statutory requirements.
- Good knowledge of construction inspection procedures, quality monitoring, site documentation, and nonconformance reporting.
- Practical understanding of coordination requirements between electrical works, civil works, landscaping, utilities, and other disciplines.
- Ability to identify deficiencies, document site findings, and communicate corrective actions clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to maintaining inspection records and progress photographs.
