The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail‑oriented engineer who can manage people, processes, and paperwork simultaneously on an active construction site.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all on‑site steel fabrication and erection activities, ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. Plan and coordinate daily site operations including manpower allocation, material requirements, equipment scheduling, and erection sequences. Monitor site progress against the project schedule and take immediate corrective action on any delays or deviations. Ensure proper erection sequences, crane lifts, rigging plans, and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Conduct regular site walks to assess work quality, safety compliance, and overall site organization.

  • Consultant & Client Coordination

Act as the primary on‑site point of contact for consultant representatives and client inspectors. Coordinate inspection appointments and witness points with the consultant's site team. Respond to site queries, clarifications, and requests for information (RFIs) in a timely manner. Attend site meetings and represent Litco Industries professionally during client and consultant visits.

  • Quality Inspection & Compliance

Implement and maintain the project's Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) on site. Carry out dimensional checks, fit‑up inspections, weld visual inspections, and post‑erection checks of structural steel members. Ensure all work passes hold points and witness points before proceeding to the next stage. Identify and report non‑conformances and follow through on corrective actions (NCRs). Coordinate third‑party inspections including NDT (UT, RT, MT, PT) and dimensional surveys.

Ensure all materials received on site comply with approved submittals and material specifications.

  • Site Reporting & Documentation

Prepare and submit accurate site reports including MIR, MAR, WMR, WIR. Maintain daily progress reports, weekly manpower report, site diaries, and photographic records of all site activities. Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, inspection requests, and all site correspondence. Ensure all as‑built records and site documentation are maintained up to date throughout the project. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for submission to the project manager.
