Project Manager; Roads & Highways

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction supervision team for major infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, highways, and tunnels.
• Manage day‑to‑day project operations, ensuring compliance with contract documents, specifications, quality standards, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and government authorities to resolve technical and contractual issues.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee quality assurance, quality control (QA/QC), and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance on site.
• Review and approve project documentation such as method statements, shop drawings, RFIs, and technical submittals.
• Monitor contractor performance, track delays or variations, and support the preparation of change orders and claims.
• Lead progress meetings, provide regular reporting to senior management and the client.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met within budget and on schedule.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction supervision of roads, bridges, highways, and tunnels.
• At least 5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region in a consultancy role.
• Proven experience in managing large‑scale infrastructure projects in accordance with Saudi Arabian standards (MOT, Aramco, or other authorities).
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract frameworks.
• Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client‑facing skills.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
