Civil Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites ensuring that all activities align with project schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services fostering strong working relationships.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of construction activities providing feedback and guidance to the workforce to enhance productivity.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project progress including daily logs, site meetings and any issues that arise.
• Assist in the development of project plans and schedules contributing insights from on-the-ground observations to improve efficiency.
• Manage the allocation and use of resources including labor, equipment and materials to minimize waste and optimize performance.
• Oversees civil works, finishing and maintenance ensuring quality standards.

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, NEBOSH or OSHA showcasing a commitment to safety and project management excellence.
• Experience with advanced construction software and tools enabling efficient project tracking and reporting.
• Proficiency in English and preferably a second language enhancing communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong technical skills in reading blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications facilitating accurate project execution.
• Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and guide teams ensuring high levels of performance and morale on site.
• Strong problem‑solving skills allowing for quick decisions in high‑pressure situations to keep projects on track.
• Physical fitness to perform site inspections and manage on‑ground activities ensuring personal safety and the safety of others.
• Cultural awareness and adaptability fostering a collaborative work environment in diverse teams and communities.
