Civil Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily construction activities ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and manage on-site labor, subcontractors, and equipment to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide construction execution and quality control.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections and toolbox talks to prevent accidents.
• Monitor material procurement and inventory to ensure timely delivery and efficient use, preventing delays and waste.
• Track project progress against schedules and budgets, reporting any deviations and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain clear and concise daily logs documenting work performed, resources used, and any challenges encountered.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve on-site issues and ensure project success.
• Oversee civil works, finishing, and maintenance, ensuring quality standards.

• Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in construction is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in safety (e.g., "OSHA") and specific trade skills are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and construction specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse construction crew effectively.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction site management best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
