Civil Engineering Technician

To provide technical support to civil engineers and assist in monitoring and executing civil and construction works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.

• Assist civil engineers in monitoring daily construction activities.
• Review civil drawings and technical specifications before work begins.
• Monitor excavation, back filling, concrete, masonry, and finishing works.
• Verify dimensions, levels, and quantities at the project site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams regarding civil works.
• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs, progress reports, and site records.
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Report technical observations and site discrepancies to the responsible engineer.
• Assist in material inspections and the monitoring of technical tests.
• Comply with health, safety, and quality procedures during the execution of work.

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 5 years of relevant experience in civil works or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of civil drawings, construction materials, and execution methods.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
