We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager (MEP / CSA) to oversee day-to-day construction delivery for a major hyperscale data center project. The role will lead site coordination across MEP, CSA, contractors, consultants, utility providers, and other stakeholders while ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
The successful candidate will monitor progress, productivity, resource deployment, interfaces, and construction risks, while driving timely resolution of site issues and supporting successful delivery through testing, commissioning, and handover.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee day-to-day construction activities across assigned MEP and CSA work streams.
- Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate site activities between contractors, consultants, utility providers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor construction progress against approved schedules, milestones, and look-ahead plans.
- Review contractor productivity, manpower, plant, equipment, and resource deployment.
- Identify construction risks, constraints, delays, and interface issues and drive timely resolution.
- Coordinate MEP, CSA, civil, structural, architectural, and commissioning interfaces.
- Review construction methodology, sequencing, temporary works, and site logistics as required.
- Support constructability reviews and provide input into design coordination.
- Monitor contractor compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Review progress reports, site records, and contractor submissions.
- Lead or participate in site coordination meetings, construction reviews, and progress meetings.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure inspections, testing, and quality requirements are completed.
- Coordinate with HSE teams to maintain safe working conditions and effective risk controls.
- Support testing, commissioning, energization, system turnover, and handover activities.
- Monitor punch list, defects, incomplete works, and closeout activities.
- Escalate critical construction issues, risks, and delays to the PMC Lead / Site Director.
- Provide regular updates on progress, performance, constraints, and key site issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certification or registration.
- Minimum 12–15 years of overall professional experience in major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant construction management experience
. - Minimum 8 years of experience on similar large-scale or mission-critical projects
. - Strong experience in hyperscale data center, industrial, or complex MEP / CSA construction supervision.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, site coordination, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, CSA works, construction logistics, and site supervision.
- Experience monitoring contractor productivity, resource deployment, and construction performance.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
- Proven experience coordinating multiple contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration.
- Experience on hyperscale data center or mission-critical projects.
- Experience in industrial construction or large-scale infrastructure.
- Experience with in a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.
- Experience working in KSA or the wider GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of MEP commissioning interfaces and system handover requirements.
- Familiarity with international construction standards and best practices.
