Position: Project Manager (Luxury Hotel Project)

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage and deliver large-scale building and hospitality projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and completion of assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality, safety, and contractual standards.

The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery and achievement of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of assigned projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, procurement activities, and construction plans.
  • Coordinate design, engineering, construction, quality, HSE, procurement, and project controls activities.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules, budgets, milestones, and performance targets.
  • Manage project costs, identify potential cost overruns, and implement corrective actions to maintain budget control.
  • Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, and quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Review and resolve technical, commercial, contractual, and construction-related issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish effective communication and coordination between project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Monitor project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans to minimize their impact on project delivery.
  • Lead regular project progress meetings and ensure timely follow-up and closure of outstanding actions.
  • Manage project documentation, reports, approvals, variations, claims, and contractual matters.
  • Support procurement and subcontracting activities to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and resources.
  • Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives while maintaining project quality and functionality.
  • Ensure effective project handover, testing, commissioning, snagging, and close-out activities.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports, KPIs, cost reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, project procedures, applicable regulations, and HSE requirements.
  • Utilize ERP/project management systems, with SAP experience preferred
    , for project controls, cost management, procurement coordination, and performance reporting.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to project teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline
    .
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction and project management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Manager or senior project management position
    .
  • Proven experience managing and delivering large-scale building, commercial, residential, or hospitality projects
    .
  • Experience in hotel and hospitality projects is highly preferred
    .
  • Strong knowledge of project management, construction methodologies, planning, budgeting, cost control, procurement, contract administration, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of project schedules, project controls, progress monitoring, and cost management.
  • Experience with ERP/project management systems; SAP is an advantage
    .
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • GCC experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects under tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with large-scale building and hospitality developments
    .
  • Experience working with major clients, consultants, and international contractors.
  • GCC construction experience, particularly in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, or Oman
    .
  • Experience managing projects with significant budgets and complex multidisciplinary scopes.
  • Strong knowledge of international construction standards, project management practices, and HSE requirements.
