Parsons is hiring a Saudi National inspector to verify that roads, drainage, traffic systems, utilities, buildings, and associated civil works comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, quality procedures, and contractual obligations.

- Perform field inspections of infrastructure and construction activities against approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
- Inspect civil works, transportation infrastructure, public works, buildings, and related site development activities within the assigned scope.
- Monitor road, street, bridge, sidewalk, curb, gutter, and associated infrastructure construction.
- Inspect demolition works and confirm compliance with approved procedures and site requirements.
- Monitor drainage networks, stormwater systems, and related civil infrastructure.
- Verify compliance with applicable stormwater pollution prevention requirements and environmental controls.
- Inspect traffic signals, ramp metering systems, street lighting, and supporting electrical installations where assigned.
- Check temporary and permanent road signs, overhead signage, delineation, and traffic control installations.
- Inspect landscaping, irrigation, planting, mechanical equipment, facilities, and other associated works when included in the inspection scope.
- Verify construction activities against approved Inspection and Test Plans, Method Statements, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Confirm that only approved materials, equipment, and components are incorporated into permanent works.
- Review Certificates of Compliance, Safety Data Sheets, material approvals, inspection tags, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain organized photographic records showing daily construction progress, defects, completed work, and significant site conditions.
- Prepare accurate daily site diaries, inspection reports, progress records, and supporting field documentation.
- Measure installed work and verify quantities used for contractor progress payment applications.
- Review additional work quantities and assist with measurement of change order activities.
- Maintain as-built information and support verification that final records accurately represent completed construction.
- Identify construction conflicts, workmanship concerns, defects, and nonconforming work and report them promptly.
- Document non-conformances and support implementation and verification of corrective actions.
- Coordinate surveying, materials testing, sampling, and specialist inspection activities performed by subconsultants.
- Assist with implementation of project quality control procedures and field inspection processes.
- Support safe working practices and verify site activities follow established project safety requirements.
- Identify unsafe conditions and elevate or act in accordance with approved safety procedures.
- Maintain awareness of public protection requirements around active construction areas.
- Participate in site meetings, coordination sessions, progress reviews, and joint inspections.
- Support emergency inspections or site call-backs when required by project conditions.
- Assist with welder qualification testing where applicable to the assigned construction scope.
- Provide practical technical guidance to junior inspection personnel when requested.
- Coordinate with Construction Management teams, Resident Engineers, Project Managers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
- Perform authorized inspections in elevated, restricted, or confined areas using required safety procedures and training.
- Maintain clear, traceable, and audit-ready inspection records throughout construction and closeout.
The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification. An Associate Degree in a technical, engineering, or construction-related discipline is preferred, although equivalent relevant field experience may also be considered.
