The Senior Quantity Surveyor will provide commercial and cost management oversight throughout the project lifecycle, helping project teams understand financial exposure, control expenditure, and maintain alignment between design development, procurement strategy, construction progress, and approved budgets. The position requires strong technical judgment because cost information must remain accurate even as project scope, quantities, market conditions, and contractual requirements evolve. Detailed measurement, cost forecasting, tender evaluation, variation management, and commercial reporting will therefore form a central part of the role.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to team capability by reviewing junior staff outputs, explaining commercial principles, and promoting consistent measurement and reporting practices across project assignments.

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
