We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our construction team in Saudi Arabia. will be responsible for carrying out accurate land and construction surveys, establishing control points, setting out construction works, monitoring elevations and alignments, and ensuring all survey activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable KSA standards.

The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of surveying techniques, construction setting-out procedures, and modern surveying equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct topographic, boundary, leveling, and construction surveys as required.
  • Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and reference points.
  • Carry out setting-out works for buildings, roads, utilities, foundations, structures, and other construction activities.
  • Set out grids, coordinates, centerlines, levels, elevations, slopes, and alignments according to approved drawings.
  • Verify existing site conditions and compare them with design drawings and survey data.
  • Perform as-built surveys and prepare accurate as-built records and drawings.
  • Conduct earthwork surveys, including cut-and-fill measurements and quantity calculations.
  • Check line, level, verticality, and positioning of structural and civil works during construction.
  • Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, Digital Level, GPS/GNSS, and other survey equipment

  • Download, process, and manage survey data accurately.
  • Prepare survey reports, field notes, calculations, sketches, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, MEP, QA/QC, and site engineering teams.
  • Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies or potential surveying issues before execution.
  • Assist engineers and site management in resolving setting-out and dimensional issues.
  • Carry out periodic checks and monitoring surveys where required.
  • Ensure all survey equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of survey activities and ensure traceability of measurements.
  • Follow company HSE procedures and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Perform other surveying duties assigned by the Survey Manager or Project Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Survey Engineering
    , or a related field.
  • Professional surveying certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–10 years of relevant experience in construction surveying; experience in KSA/GCC construction projects is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction setting-out and surveying practices.
  • Experience with Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and Digital Level
    .
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data-processing software.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, architectural, and infrastructure drawings.
  • Knowledge of coordinate systems, benchmarks, levels, elevations, and construction tolerances.
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and accurately under site conditions.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and meet project deadlines.
Preferred

Skills:

  • Experience with Trimble, Leica, Topcon, or Sokkia surveying equipment.
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D and other relevant surveying/design software.
  • Experience in roads, buildings, infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Familiarity with KSA construction practices, project specifications, and surveying requirements.
  • GCC or Saudi project experience is highly desirable.
  • Valid Saudi driving license is an advantage.

Working Conditions:
