Site Manager, Construction Manager/ Foreman
Redfish Solutions are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with strong civil construction and large-scale interior fit-out experience.
This site-based role will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinating and supervising an internal team of site supervisors and engineers, subcontractors and key suppliers.
Reporting directly to Senior Management, the successful candidate will organise manpower and material distribution, hire resources and specialist equipment to meet programme and progress requirements, while monitoring project budgets, maintaining quality standards and ensuring health & safety policies are implemented and followed at all times.
You will be directly involved in planning the works and responsible for meeting project targets and deadlines, while clearly communicating the evolving scope to the entire site team and subcontract trades.
Responsibilities:- Provide clear direction and leadership on site to all trades.
- Plan, coordinate, monitor and manage daily activities, including logistics, material supplies, resource planning, work sequencing, testing and inspections, housekeeping, waste management and health & safety.
- Act as the primary site contact for all subcontractors, Client vendors, the Landlord and/or Client’s representative.
- Ensure Mall / Landlord rules and regulations are complied with at all times.
- Coordinate with the commercial team to ensure variations, project changes and contra charges are captured.
- Analyse BOQs and IFC drawings to ensure the scope is clearly defined and identify any scope gaps.
- Ensure materials used on site comply with specifications and approved submissions.
- Proactively identify potential clashes between works and trades, resolve conflicts and provide on-site solutions. Where this is not possible, raise RFIs or immediately escape the issue to the Project Manager.
- Ensure quality inspections are correctly executed and rectifications are addressed swiftly and effectively.
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times, with worker welfare and working conditions properly considered and maintained.
- Attend and, where required, lead site progress meetings with stakeholders, including the Client, Consultants and Client representatives.
- Provide input to regular Management Reports as required.
- Control all testing and commissioning, de-snagging, final close-out and project handover.
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- 10+ years’ construction industry experience in interiors, including at least 3–5 years in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of site operations, with experience managing projects of varying sizes and commercial values.
- Proven track record on relevant large-scale mixed-use, hospitality, or commercial fit out projects.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good people and time management skills.
