Fit Project Engineer SAR - Western-led Firm

• The Project Engineer will be responsible for independently managing and supporting large-scale fit-out projects on site, with minimal supervision from the Project Manager. The role requires strong technical knowledge, effective coordination skills, and the ability to oversee projects from initial site possession through to final handover.

• A minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience
  , preferably within the hospitality or high-end fit-out sector in the GCC.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering projects such as hospitality, hotels, high-end residential developments, palaces, F&B, retail, entertainment, healthcare, and education
  .
• Strong technical knowledge with proven hands-on project execution and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience working for professional fit-out contracting companies with an established in-house workforce.
• Strong organisational, coordination, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ability to work effectively within a multinational and multicultural environment.
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office

• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of projects on site, from taking possession of the unit from the client through to final site handover.
• Define project objectives, establish execution plans, and clearly determine the project scope, programme, performance requirements, and deliverables.
• Optimise the use of project resources, including labour, materials, plant, and equipment, to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of project execution, including planning, design, estimating, procurement, contracting, and construction.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, documentation, and progress reports throughout the construction period.
• Oversee construction site activities and effectively manage vendors, subcontractors, and specialist trades.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support and implement effective project management systems covering planning, cost control, programme management, quality management, contract administration, and health and safety.
• Establish and maintain clear responsibilities and reporting structures within the project team, while implementing appropriate project controls to monitor performance, cost, quality, programme, and progress.
• Identify and address project issues proactively, ensuring that works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, programme, budget, and quality standards.
