Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
About the RoleReview tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements. Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Responsibilities- Analyze material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Prepare tender pricing, cost breakdowns, and commercial comparisons.
- Identify discrepancies, exclusions, risks, and potential cost impacts within tender documents.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commercial, and project teams during the estimation process.
- Assist in developing competitive pricing strategies and tender submissions.
- Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
- Support post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
- Maintain proper records of estimates, quotations, and tender documentation.
