We are looking for an experienced
Quantity Surveyor
to manage project cost planning, commercial control, and financial performance across construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects remain commercially viable and are delivered within approved budgets.
Prepare detailed
cost estimates, budgets, BOQs, and cost plans
for construction projectsMonitor project expenditure against approved budgets and forecasts
Prepare regular
cost reports and commercial updates
for project managementReview and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
Negotiate rates, pricing, and commercial terms with subcontractors and suppliers
Identify cost risks, variations, and opportunities for cost optimization
Prepare, assess, and manage variation orders, claims, and payment applications
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and assess costs against actual work
Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial matters
Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, variations, and claims
Support project teams in maintaining cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle
Stay informed about construction market trends, material pricing, and industry developments
Bachelor's degree in
Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field10+ years of experience
in quantity surveying within the construction industryPrevious experience in
Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferredStrong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, estimation, and commercial practices
Experience with
variations, claims, subcontractor management, and cost reportingStrong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in
MS Office and relevant QS/commercial softwareAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams
Experience with
precast or pre-stressed concrete projects
is an advantage
