Role Context The Manager
- Hospitality Project Management provides day-to-day leadership across hospitality asset delivery, connecting strategic development objectives with practical project execution. The position manages complex interfaces between designers, contractors, hotel operators, commercial teams, delivery partners, and government stakeholders while ensuring decisions and actions progress without unnecessary delay. Through disciplined project controls, structured reporting, and proactive issue resolution, the role helps protect programme milestones, investment objectives, design quality, and operational readiness from early planning through construction delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily progression of hospitality assets across planning, design, procurement, and construction stages.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to maintain alignment with approved delivery objectives.
  • Monitor programme, cost, quality, scope, risk, and key project dependencies.
  • Use project controls information to identify emerging issues before they affect major milestones.
  • Challenge incomplete or inconsistent project data and drive corrective actions where performance is falling behind expectations.
  • Maintain clear visibility of critical activities, decisions, approvals, and outstanding actions.
  • Develop detailed project management plans that define delivery priorities, responsibilities, timelines, and interfaces.
  • Maintain project programmes, coordination trackers, action logs, and milestone schedules.
  • Ensure planning information accurately reflects current project status and upcoming delivery requirements.
  • Support recovery planning when design, procurement, or construction activities experience delays.
  • Prepare structured project reports and management submissions for senior stakeholders.
  • Translate complex project data into concise findings, risks, recommendations, and decision requirements.
  • Present programme performance in a manner that supports timely management action.
  • Track approvals and decisions required to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Maintain governance records covering project status, actions, risks, and milestone performance.
  • Escalate critical issues when intervention is required from project leadership.
  • Support executive reviews with accurate information on progress, constraints, and forecast outcomes.
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, hotel Operators, suppliers, internal teams, and delivery partners.
  • Define responsibilities clearly where interfaces overlap between different project packages.
  • Manage dependencies between design, procurement, construction, and operational requirements.
  • Ensure agreed actions from coordination meetings are assigned, tracked, and closed.
  • Resolve interface issues that could delay design approvals, procurement decisions, site progress, or operator requirements.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with project stakeholders while protecting delivery objectives.
  • Coordinate with government authorities where approvals or statutory requirements affect progress.
  • Support communication between development teams and hotel Operators throughout project delivery.
  • Coordinate hotel Operator requirements with design and construction teams.
  • Review whether developing project solutions remain aligned with intended hospitality operations.
