- Supervise and implement EHS policies, procedures, and site safety plans.
- Conduct daily site inspections, safety observations, and workplace risk assessments.
- Identify hazards and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, and regular HSE training.
- Monitor compliance with PPE, PTW, LOTO, working at height, lifting, excavation, and confined-space requirements.
- Ensure proper implementation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Risk Assessments / Method Statements.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare reports.
- Maintain and monitor HSE statistics, KPIs, inspection reports, and safety records.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, drills, fire safety, and evacuation procedures.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors for compliance with project HSE requirements.
- Conduct regular site audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure proper environmental practices, including waste management, pollution prevention, and spill control.
- Liaise with project management, clients, consultants, and government authorities on HSE matters.
- Stop unsafe work when necessary and ensure hazards are rectified before work resumes.
- Support continuous improvement of the project's HSE culture and performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a site-based and multicultural environment.
