The HSE Officer will support workplace and site safety activities, including hazard identification, risk assessment, safety inspections, incident reporting, and HSE documentation. This position is suitable for candidates with 1–3 years of relevant HSE experience who are ready to join promptly. Additional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA can support professional development and long-term career growth in health, safety, and environmental management.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct workplace and site safety inspections.
- Identify unsafe conditions and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Support hazard identification and risk assessment activities.
- Apply occupational health and safety practices across workplace operations.
- Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and workplace safety procedures.
- Conduct and support toolbox talks and safety awareness activities.
- Support emergency preparedness and emergency response procedures.
- Assist with incident reporting and documentation.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and safety documentation.
- Communicate safety requirements effectively to operational and site teams.
- Promote safe working practices and contribute to a positive safety culture.
- Support ongoing HSE activities and workplace safety improvements.
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
- 1–3 years of relevant HSE experience.
- Good knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
- Understanding of workplace safety requirements.
- Practical knowledge of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).
- Ability to conduct workplace and site safety inspections.
- Ability to identify and report unsafe conditions.
- Familiarity with PPE requirements.
- Knowledge of toolbox talks and safety awareness practices.
- Understanding of emergency procedures and incident reporting.
- Ability to maintain HSE records and safety documentation.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively with operational and site teams.
