Qiddiya Investment Company, the developer behind the Qiddiya entertainment destination in Saudi Arabia, is recruiting a Manager for its cost planning team in Riyadh. The post is full time and sits on the client side, at the pre-contract stage.
The manager builds up construction costs and devises and runs pre-contract cost management strategies, weighing cost against value so that the budget holds without cutting into what the project has to deliver.
Much of the work is the management of external cost consultants: the postholder keeps the monthly tracker of scope and cost movements carried forward from earlier phases, helps review the consultants' cost plans for accuracy and for fit with the design, and checks that each consultant keeps to its defined scope, guidelines and procedures. Design efficiency is monitored as the scheme develops.
The role reports construction cost and design metrics to its business unit and represents cost planning at the internal reviews that take a project through its stage gates. Measurement follows IPMS, and the posting asks for working knowledge of benchmarking and of feasibility requirements.
Qiddiya asks for five to seven years of cost planning, quantity surveying or estimating experience, work on projects with a construction value above SAR 200 million, and expertise in standards such as NRM, RIBA and POMI. Two years or more in the GCC construction industry is preferred, as is cost benchmarking experience in Saudi Arabia or elsewhere in the region.
CostX is the preferred cost planning software.
The details above are taken from the employer's own posting, read on 17-10-2026. Where the posting does not state something, this page says so rather than estimating it. SCCSI is not the employer, is not a recruitment agency and takes no part in the selection.
