Any Job Type: Full-time Role Context The Graphic Designer will support the Permitting Office by converting complex workflows, procedures, technical content, and stakeholder messages into structured visual communication.

• Design visual communication materials supporting permitting processes and stakeholder interaction.
• Develop infographics that simplify technical, procedural, and operational information.
• Create process flows, diagrams, visual maps, and workflow illustrations.
• Produce professional presentations for meetings, workshops, management reviews, and stakeholder briefings.
• Design report layouts, reusable templates, and structured communication materials.
• Develop awareness, guidance, and information resources for internal and external audiences.
• Translate permitting workflows and procedures into clear visual formats that are easier to understand.
• Convert technical content into concise graphics without losing essential information or accuracy.
• Apply effective information hierarchy to complex documents and presentations.
• Use typography, spacing, visual grouping, and layout principles to improve readability.
• Maintain consistency across presentations, reports, diagrams, and communication materials.
• Ensure visual outputs follow applicable corporate identity and design standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather content and understand the purpose of each communication requirement.
• Clarify unclear or overly technical information with subject matter experts before developing final designs.
• Present alternative visual approaches where information can be communicated more effectively.
• Support internal communication campaigns and awareness initiatives through design-led materials.
• Develop visual assets suitable for structured project, government, technical, and stakeholder environments.
• Create editable templates that enable teams to maintain consistent communication standards.
• Review completed designs for spelling, alignment, visual balance, consistency, and information accuracy.
• Manage revisions efficiently while maintaining document version integrity.
• Handle multiple concurrent design assignments and prioritize deliverables according to project deadlines.
• Maintain organized working files, design assets, source materials, and approved final versions.
• Collaborate through shared digital platforms and support team-based design review processes.
• Adapt visual communication according to the needs of technical specialists, management teams, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of communication materials based on user feedback and changing project requirements.

• Associate Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• A recognized certificate from an accredited design or graphics program may also be suitable.
• Minimum 6 years of professional graphic design or visual communication experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong PowerPoint design capability with experience producing polished and logically structured presentations.
• Practical experience with Figma or comparable collaborative design platforms.
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, information architecture, and composition.
• Demonstrated ability to convert complex procedures or technical concepts into understandable visual content.
• Experience producing infographics, process diagrams, workflow graphics, or instructional materials.
• Ability to maintain visual consistency across multiple related deliverables.
• Strong attention to detail when working with structured technical or procedural information.
• Comfortable collaborating with professionals who may not have design backgrounds.
• Able to interpret stakeholder requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
