Document Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of the project’s document control system and Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Manage the review and approval cycles for technical submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and design deliverables (Concept to IFC).
• Ensure rigorous version control to prevent the use of obsolete drawings or documents on‑site or by consultants.
• Generate regular status reports on document turnaround times, pending approvals, and submittal registers for MIS reporting.
• Administer user access, folder structures, and metadata tagging in accordance with ISO 19650 or project‑specific standards.
• Consolidate and audit all “As‑Built” documentation and commissioning records for final handover to Facilities Management (FM).

• CAN‑DO attitude and GTD (Get Things Done) mindset.
• Ensure 100% accuracy in document filing and distribution to avoid technical errors on‑site.
• Maintain zero tolerance for undocumented decisions or unrecorded design changes.
• Enforce strict turnaround times for document reviews across all stakeholders.

Minimum: 5 Years experience;
Max: 8+ Years.

Languages required:
English.

Related diploma, certificate, or degree.

• CDE Platforms (Aconex, BIM 360, Procore, or similar).
• AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS 1192) and LOD specifications.
• MS Project.
• Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word).
