Responsibilities
Provide detailed diagnosis, treatment plan, and rehabilitation of the dentition to meet functional and esthetic requirements of the individual, new or referred.
Responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders and conditions in the fields of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, and Implant Dentistry.
Obtain and interpret medical, dental, and psychosocial history, including evaluation of physical and social conditions that may affect dental management.
Identify, diagnose, and manage occlusal, sleep, and TMJ disorders.
Perform thorough clinical, extraoral, intraoral, and radiographic examinations.
Write clear laboratory prescriptions and evaluate laboratory products with specialists.
Keep abreast of latest techniques and developments in Restorative Dentistry and implement them selectively to improve technical standards.
Perform all types of direct restorations for adults only; all types of indirect restorations (veneers, inlays only); preventive treatments (sealants, fluoride for adults only) and bleaching; fixed prosthetic work including implant prosthetic parts for cases.
Provide emergency treatment as needed and any other clinical responsibilities related to the specialty.
Academic responsibilities: advise junior staff on patient management in Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, guide and actively participate in training and teaching of interns, junior staff, specialists, and residents; participate in educational activities and training programs of the department.
Qualifications- Educational requirement:
Completed three years of advanced training in Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry and/or a Master’s degree from an accredited dental school. - Professional requirement:
At least two (2) years of practical dental experience.
