Architectural CAD Operator

Responsible to the Head of Architectural Department within a multi-discipline architectural and engineering design office, the position involves working together with design engineers to prepare working drawings for tender and construction for low, medium and high rise buildings and other facilities. Responsibilities include preparation of Architectural engineering drawings on Autocad from engineer’s base information and sketches, including coordination with other design disciplines.

Suitable candidates should preferably hold a Bachelor degree and have a minimum of 5 years experience as a CAD operator in preparing electrical design drawings for major building projects.

Extensive knowledge of materials and detailing methods for building Architecture systems, as well as proficiency in use of the most recent version of Autocad is essential. Knowledge of Revit Architecture software for drawing production would be a definite advantage.
