Architectural Project Director

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Architectural Project Director to join an award-winning, multi-disciplinary firm in Saudi. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within one of the UAE’s most prestigious and well-established architectural practices. As a key figure in the firm, you will oversee and drive projects across multiple sectors, ensuring excellence in design, execution, and performance.

Your role will be instrumental in shaping the company’s architectural vision, managing both creative and operational aspects, and fostering innovation within a diverse and multicultural team.

• Project Leadership:
  Lead and manage project teams, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality architectural solutions while maintaining design integrity.
• Client & Stakeholder Liaison:
  Be the main point of contact with clients, sub-consultants, local authorities, project managers, service providers, and other external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and relationship-building.
• Management & Oversight:
  Provide managerial oversight to the design and documentation processes, ensuring that all client submissions, authority approvals, and coordination with service providers meet required standards.
• Quality Assurance:
  Ensure that high-quality standards are maintained within the project team, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues that may arise.

  Work effectively with a diverse, international team, leveraging different skills and perspectives to deliver innovative and successful project outcomes.
• Contract Management:
  Have a deep understanding of commercial contracts, business agreements, and the terms of payment processes.

  Lead and facilitate meetings with internal teams, stakeholders, consultants, sub-consultants, and contractors, ensuring all parties are aligned with project goals.
• Performance Improvement:
  Assist senior management in identifying opportunities to improve overall company performance, contributing to the growth and success of the practice.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in architecture, with at least 5 years of experience in the GCC region.
• Design Expertise: A strong design-led background is essential, with the ability to preserve the integrity of the original design concepts and ensure their effective execution.

• Commercial Acumen: A solid understanding of commercial contracts, business agreements, and financial management in the architectural field.

• Up to 55,000 SAR per month.
