Position: Technical Office Manager (Architect)

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Office Manager (Architect) to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all designs adhere to industry standards and client specifications. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to lead a team of architects and engineers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure that all project requirements are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage architectural projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

Coordinate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each project.

Oversee the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and specifications in compliance with local regulations.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any on-site challenges that may arise.

Manage and mentor a team of architects and technical staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, proposals, and change orders.

Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders, facilitating problem-solving and decision-making.

Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to maintain compliance and enhance project outcomes.

Prepare and present project updates and reports to upper management and clients.

Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of architectural integrity are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Preferred Candidate

A degree in Architecture or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural project management.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketch Up.

In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex project challenges.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Professional certification, such as LEED accreditation, is highly desirable.
