Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Project Architect (Senior Design Manager) to join our Design Division based in Riyadh, KSA.

We envisage success in this role to include:

• Assesses the requirements of a project, breaks a project down into tasks, and works with the Design Division and Project Manager to determine scope of work, budget and staffing.
• Writes scope of work for architectural design based on preliminary review and meeting with project management and the client.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable local and international building codes, works with code officials and when an interpretation or exception to building codes is required.
• Reviews work of project design team. Checks progress of works and alerts Project Manager to change of scope or additional services.
• Coordinates all aspects of project document completion within firm and externally with clients in the presence of the Project Manager and other design professionals.
• Promotes use of and participates in development of company design and production standards.
• Assists in the education and development of design and project staff and acts as resource for design questions.
• Maintains neat and organized work area which allows efficient access to project information required by other project and team members.
• Holds regular project progress review meetings with all concerned engineers and disciplines.
• Ensures QA/QC procedures are being implemented and any QA/QC comments/issues are being addressed.
• Submits and follows-up on all required design submittals to the various governmental agencies to obtain the necessary approvals and /or permits.
• May attend meetings on behalf of Project Manager (PM) with client.
• Provides follow-up on outstanding Client actions as requested by PM.
• Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15+ years of relevant experience, partnered with Bachelor's degree and licensed as an Architect.

• LEED highly regarded. Member of RIBA and/or AIA.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture, Revit Architecture, Sketchup and Photo Shop, Illustrator and In-Design.
