OverviewParsons Corporation is hiring a seasoned Design Manager to lead integrated design coordination for a signature ultra‑luxury development in Riyadh. This opportunity involves managing high‑end architecture, hospitality, and supporting infrastructure for a single iconic destination.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across architecture, infrastructure, MEP, and landscaping.
- Ensure timely and compliant delivery of design packages in line with project specifications and authority requirements.
- Review and manage submissions throughout all project stages, maintaining control over quality, progress, and scope.
- Drive collaboration between consultants and internal departments such as planning, procurement, and construction.
- Organise and facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, technical reviews, and regulatory approvals.
- Identify design risks early, propose mitigation strategies, and manage design change processes efficiently.
- Maintain structured logs of RFIs, submittals, actions, and approvals to support smooth information flow.
- Support value engineering initiatives and align design with program goals, sustainability targets, and cost benchmarks.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in design management for large‑scale mixed‑use, residential, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with regional authority standards, building codes, and international best practices.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple consultants and disciplines under tight timelines.
- Proficient in Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, and MS Office tools for design coordination and reporting.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder interactions.
- Credentials such as PMP, RIBA, PE, or LEED AP are advantageous.
- Experience on Vision 2030 or giga projects in the Middle East is highly desirable.
