Draftsman , Architectural

The Architectural Draftsman is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining architectural drawings and technical documentation for construction projects. The role supports project engineers, architects, and technical office teams by producing accurate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed construction drawings in accordance with project specifications, design standards, and client requirements.

• Prepare architectural shop drawings, detailed drawings, and construction documents based on project requirements.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical) to resolve design conflicts.
• Produce as-built drawings and update project documentation throughout project execution.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, local regulations, and company procedures.
• Revise drawings based on technical comments, RFIs, and site requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
• Support technical office activities related to architectural works.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and drawing reviews when required.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet project schedules and milestones.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Revit, BIM, Sketch Up, and other architectural drafting software is preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, detailing, and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code and construction standards is an advantage.

• Minimum 6 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman.
• Experience with in construction and contracting.
• Proven experience in building, infrastructure, commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
• Experience in preparing architectural shop drawings and as-built drawings for large-scale construction projects.
• Advanced AutoCAD drafting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills.

• Experience working on large-scale construction and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and Revit modeling.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
