Role OverviewThe Junior Architect will support the delivery of major sports infrastructure projects, assisting senior architects and project teams in design reviews, technical coordination, compliance assessments and project documentation. The role provides an excellent opportunity for a Saudi National to gain exposure to international federation requirements, stadium design principles and major event infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced industry professionals.
This position is designed to provide structured professional development, mentorship from experienced specialists, and hands‑on exposure to some of the region's most significant sports and major event infrastructure projects. We are seeking an ambitious individual who is eager to learn, grow and develop their career within a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support compliance reviews across projects by assisting with design assessments, documentation reviews, and the tracking of actions and recommendations.
- Assist in the interpretation and application of international federation requirements and project standards.
- Support the review of design submissions and project documentation, helping to identify potential risks and compliance gaps.
- Assist in the development of practical recommendations to support compliance through permanent, temporary, or hybrid solutions.
- Support overlay planning and design reviews, ensuring alignment with project and event requirements.
- Develop an understanding of event overlay requirements, including temporary facilities, operational areas, hospitality spaces, broadcast requirements, and back‑of‑house functions.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of compliance registers, trackers, and reporting tools.
- Participate in technical review meetings, workshops, and project coordination sessions.
- Support technical assessments relating to spectator flows, accessibility, hospitality, and operational readiness.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement activities and coordination with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Support coordination activities related to international federation requirements where applicable.
- Contribute to research and benchmarking activities related to stadium design, sports infrastructure, and industry best practice.
- Support site visits, inspections, and construction progress reviews as required.
- Participate in compliance reviews, technical workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
- Support senior team members in coordinating with clients, asset owners and project stakeholders.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Contribute to project discussions and the development of practical solutions.
- Support consistency in the application of project standards and compliance requirements.
- Participate in knowledge‑sharing initiatives and professional development activities.
- Saudi National only.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognised university.
- 0–2 years of professional experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of architectural design principles and construction documentation.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of BIM processes is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
