Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Create unique interior design concepts that meet client needs and expectations.
• Develop mood boards and visual presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Conduct spatial assessments and develop layout plans to maximize functionality and ensure optimal flow, adhering to safety and building codes.
• Research, source, and provide material samples and specifications that align with the design vision.
• Meet with clients to discuss preferences, budget, and objectives; maintain clear communication throughout the design process.
• Create and manage project budgets, ensuring designs stay within financial constraints; prepare cost estimates and facilitate negotiations with suppliers.
• Oversee the execution of design projects from concept to completion, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and other professionals on-site.
• Stay informed about local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards, ensuring all designs comply with relevant regulations.
• Conduct site visits post‑completion to ensure client satisfaction and address any issues that arise after project completion.

• Educational Background
  :
  Minimum:
  Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Professional Experience
  : 3-5 years of interior design experience, managing projects from concept to completion; skilled in creating mood boards, color schemes, materials, and finishes.
• Licenses & Certifications
  :
  Licensure or certification by a recognized board is preferred.
• Technical Skills
  :
  Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Corona, Revit (BIM preferred), 3ds Max); strong understanding of materials and fabrics used in interior design.
