Overview

We are hiring on behalf of a leading construction contracting company delivering high-profile and technically complex developments in Saudi Arabia
. We are looking for a highly skilled Project Architect with strong technical and construction expertise to bridge the gap between concept design and on-site execution. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing design concepts into coordinated, constructible solutions while supporting estimation, procurement, and project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will be involved in a prestigious private residential development in Riyadh contributing to high-quality technical delivery, constructability, and coordination across all project stages.

Riyadh (Preference will be given to candidates holding a valid Saudi Iqama)

Contract Duration:
July 2026 - April 2027 and Sept 2026 - April 2027

• Develop concept designs into coordinated, constructible, and execution-ready construction documentation.
• Review and coordinate multidisciplinary design drawings across all project stages to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.
• Work closely with Concept Architects during the early design phase to maintain design intent while developing practical construction solutions.
• Provide the Estimation team with detailed drawings, specifications, and technical inputs to support accurate quantity take-offs and pricing.
• Analyse site conditions and as-built information, identify discrepancies, and propose practical technical solutions.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, shop drawings, and execution details that comply with engineering standards and project requirements.
• Conduct technical reviews of contractor bids, specifications, shop drawings, and material submissions.
• Recommend suitable materials and value-engineering alternatives while maintaining design quality and project objectives.
• Prepare and review project specifications and ensure compliance with project standards and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, estimation, and site teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Support construction activities by providing technical guidance and resolving design and site-related issues during execution.
• Participate in design coordination workshops with Lead Architects during the concept and design development stages.
• Assist in managing site activities, coordinating foremen and construction teams, and ensuring work is executed safely and in accordance with approved drawings.
• Ensure all technical deliverables meet project schedules, budgets, QA/QC standards, and construction best practices.

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in the construction industry, with significant involvement in retail, commercial, shopping mall, hospitality, or other large-scale building projects.
• Proven experience in Design Development (DD), Construction Documentation (CD), and preparation of coordinated shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of constructability, architectural detailing, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of BIM
  .
• Experience working on EPC construction projects with exposure to technical coordination and cost-conscious project delivery.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction practices, technical standards, and commonly used building materials is highly preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment while managing multiple priorities.
