Parsons seeks a Junior Urban Planner to support urban planning initiatives in the Saudi Arabian market. The role involves technical planning tasks, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination within the planning team.

• Perform various assignments requiring conventional architectural planning expertise, including planning and coordination tasks.
• Gather, compile, and analyze data on economic, social, and physical factors affecting land use.
• Coordinate with local authorities, civic leaders, social scientists, and land planning specialists to recommend land‑use arrangements for residential, commercial, transportation, industrial, and community uses.
• Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate public involvement and consensus‑building meetings and workshops.
• Review and evaluate environmental impact reports.
• Assist in coordinating reuse and redevelopment master plans.
• Coordinate the work of technicians and/or lower‑level planners.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban/City Planning, Town Planning, or related field.
• 3–7 years of related work experience.
• Planner certification preferred at this level.
• Working knowledge of urban and environmental planning, architectural practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in PC and various software packages commonly used in urban/environmental planning assignments.
