- Infrastructure Design in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is a construction hiring opportunity with Parsons Corporation for an experienced design management professional who can coordinate multidisciplinary infrastructure design delivery across assigned projects, asset scopes, and technical packages. This role supports planning and design management by ensuring consultant outputs are complete, coordinated, compliant, aligned with project briefs, and delivered within approved standards, budgets, milestones, and governance requirements.
- Support senior management and the Senior Design Manager in daily design coordination, assurance, reporting, and delivery management across assigned projects.
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design activities across infrastructure packages, technical disciplines, consultants, assets, and project stages.
- Coordinate design consultants and technical teams to ensure design outputs are compliant, integrated, complete, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements.
- Review design submissions for quality, completeness, technical coordination, interface alignment, constructability, and compliance before approval workflows.
- Monitor design development against approved briefs, standards, budgets, project schedules, stage gate requirements, and delivery milestones.
- Support the resolution of design clashes, technical queries, constructability concerns, interdisciplinary conflicts, and project interface issues.
- Maintain design trackers, action logs, review registers, comment response logs, approval workflows, technical records, and decision registers.
- Apply standardized design management templates, tools, procedures, reporting methods, and governance controls across assigned projects.
- Coordinate design interfaces between infrastructure systems, assets, disciplines, consultants, stakeholders, support functions, and project delivery teams.
- Identify design-related risks, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, gaps, and unresolved technical matters, then support mitigation and escalation actions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, consultants, reviewers, project teams, and support functions to enable timely reviews, approvals, decisions, and technical clarifications.
- Ensure design information is communicated accurately, consistently, and on time to all relevant stakeholders.
- Support design progress reporting by preparing status updates, dashboard inputs, milestone trackers, action summaries, and approval status records.
- Promote coordinated design delivery that supports construction readiness, technical quality, stakeholder alignment, and efficient project execution.
- Help maintain clear documentation trails for submissions, reviews, comments, approvals, changes, decisions, and technical coordination outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design coordination, design management, infrastructure design delivery, or multidisciplinary project environments.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary design consultants across infrastructure, utilities, roads, civil works, public realm, buildings interfaces, or large development packages.
- Good understanding of design development stages, submission review cycles, technical coordination requirements, and approval workflows.
- Strong ability to review design documentation for completeness, coordination, compliance, constructability, and alignment with project objectives.
- Experience maintaining trackers, logs, registers, approval records, technical correspondence, and design governance documentation.
- Good knowledge of design management procedures, stage gate deliverables, project standards, interface coordination, and design assurance processes.
- Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with consultants, technical reviewers, project managers, support functions, delivery teams, and client representatives.
- Practical problem‑solving mindset with the ability to identify design gaps, track actions, and support timely resolution of technical issues.
- Able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, governance discipline, and clear communication across project teams.
